Required Parts

• Controller Get an Wemos S2 Mini

  • from Amazon ( HiLetGo  or DiGiYes  ) or AliExpress ( Lolin on AliExpress  )
  • Do NOT just buy anything called an “ESP32 S2 Mini” - there are several different controllers using “Mini” in their name / description which are not the same design as the Wenos S2 Mini  and will NOT work with these directions. Just buy one from one of the above links and you’ll be good.

• Caernarfon Castle Kit Get a Caernarfon Castle Kit  from TerrainTronics. It comes with

  • an IR remote control and receiver
  • a servo motor and parts to help concert rotational to linear motion
  • a Wemos D1 Mini which you won’t need - you’ll be using the Wemos S2 Mini instead
